Delete Your Lumi Account & Data

At Lumi, you have full ownership and control over your personal information. If you wish to delete your account and all associated cloud data, follow the instructions below.

How to Request Account & Data Deletion

1. Compose an Email to shubhamk314@gmail.com
   Use the subject line: Lumi Account Deletion Request.
2. Specify Your Registered Account Email
   Mention the Google or email address you used to sign into Lumi so that we can accurately identify and locate your account records in our authentication system.
3. Confirmation & Permanent Purge
   Upon receipt, we will verify your request and permanently delete your account and all related data from our cloud servers within 48 to 72 hours. We will send a confirmation reply once the deletion is complete.

What Data Is Deleted?

When an account deletion request is processed, the following data is permanently purged from our servers:

• Authentication Profile: User ID, display name, email address, profile avatar, and credentials stored in Supabase Auth.
• Focus Sessions: Historical session timestamps, elapsed focus minutes, chosen lamp palettes, and completion records.
• Planner Tasks: Scheduled day timeline blocks, categories, recurring task rules, and completion logs.
• Streaks & Insights: Streak counters, session stats, golden focus hour calculations, and habit metrics.
• Focus Shield Settings: App blocklists and locked package preferences.
• Referral & Ledger Data: Invite codes, referral linkages, and bonus lamp records.

What Data Is Retained?

We do not retain any identifiable personal information after deletion. Aggregated, non-identifiable crash diagnostics previously submitted through Firebase Crashlytics cannot be traced back to your individual identity. If you made in-app purchases or subscriptions, Google Play retains financial transaction records in accordance with applicable tax and legal requirements.

Clearing Local Data on Your Device

If you want to immediately remove locally cached data and database files from your Android phone without waiting:

1. Open your device's Settings app.
2. Navigate to Apps > Lumi.
3. Tap Storage & Cache.
4. Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data).
5. Uninstall the Lumi application.
