Terms of Service & End User License Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the cleanview.ai Chrome extension ("cleanview.ai", "the Extension"). By installing or using cleanview.ai, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the Extension (see Uninstall Instructions) and do not use it.

1. License grant

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use cleanview.ai on devices you control, for your own personal or internal business use. cleanview.ai remains the property of its developer; this license does not transfer any ownership rights to you.

2. What cleanview.ai does

cleanview.ai lets you hide visual elements on webpages you visit, using CSS, and optionally remember that choice per website so it's reapplied on future visits. It runs entirely on your device; see the Privacy Policy for details on data handling. Hiding is reversible — elements are never deleted from the underlying page, only visually hidden — and can be undone at any time via "Restore All."

cleanview.ai is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. The developer does not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every website, since it interacts with third-party page markup that is outside the developer's control.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer of cleanview.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Extension — including any unintended visual changes to a website you've chosen to modify using the Extension.

cleanview.ai operates on webpages you choose to visit but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for the content, policies, or behavior of those third-party websites.

7. Changes to the Extension or these Terms

The developer may update cleanview.ai and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Extension after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The current version of these Terms will always be posted at this URL.

8. Termination

You may stop using cleanview.ai at any time by uninstalling it (see Uninstall Instructions). The developer may discontinue the Extension or remove it from the Chrome Web Store at any time.
