Uninstall Instructions

Removing cleanview.ai takes under a minute and leaves nothing behind — it never stored anything outside your own browser profile.

Option A: from the extensions menu

1. Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar (top right).
2. Find "cleanview.ai" in the list.
3. Click the three-dot menu next to it and choose Remove from Chrome, then confirm.

Option B: from the extensions page

1. Go to chrome://extensions (paste that into the address bar).
2. Find the "cleanview.ai" card.
3. Click Remove, then confirm.

Just want to turn it off temporarily?

On the same chrome://extensions page, toggle the switch on the cleanview.ai card to off. This disables it without removing it — your saved layouts stay put and everything comes back if you toggle it on again.

Other Chromium-based browsers

Brave, Edge, and other Chromium-based browsers use the same chrome://extensions page and the same steps above.

What happens to your data

Removing the extension deletes all of its locally stored data (the per-site layouts you saved) along with it, since that data lived only inside the extension's own local storage in your browser profile — see the Privacy Policy for details. Nothing needs to be requested or deleted anywhere else, because nothing was ever sent anywhere else.
